SAVOIA CORTINA
The Grand Hotel Savoia in Cortina d' Ampezzo has always been an emblem of European hotels. It has been reopened to the public last December, after a complex renovation which has totally renewed the interior architecture and its functionality, in full respect of the nineteenth-century character. The decorative lighting found in a great part of the hotel has been handled by MLE, with a wide use of products designed by the architect (Lorenzo the Bellini), who has chosen materials decidedly on a “nature” typology, reinterpreted as the entire hotel, in a distinct contemporary key.
